Bonnie Jean Kashmer

Bonnie Jean Kashmer, age 54, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 7, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Bonnie was born December 30, 1958 in Toledo to Don and Marge Miller. She married her loving, devoted husband, Jerry Kashmer, on July 15, 1993.

Bonnie's greatest passion in life was being a mother and wife. She enjoyed her family, including watching her daughter play school sports and Christmas cookie baking with her sisters.

She enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts, and loved her dedicated dog "Jack".

Bonnie will be remembered by her beautiful smile and caring heart. We will miss her flawless ability of remembering everyone's birthday and anniversary.

She fought her cancer with courage and strength and never lost hope.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jerry; daughter, Tracy Kashmer; stepdaughters, Jenny (Christopher) Dukeshire, Stephanie Fuller, and Megan Kashmer; 7 step grandchildren; siblings, Sandra (Dave) Pifer, Alan (Diana) Miller, Gary (Linda) Miller, Janice (Stan) Ray, Susan (Scott) Clendenin, Carol (John) Gordon, and Terry (Lisa) Miller; mother-in-law, Helen Kashmer; brother-in-law, Terry (Sandy) Kasmer; sister-in-law, Cindy (Rich) Johnston; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Marge Miller, and father-in-law, John Kashmer.

Family and friends may visit Friday, July 12th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton where a Vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Prayers will begin in the funeral home Saturday, July 13th at 10:20 a.m., followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity (Immaculate Conception) Catholic Church at Marygrove, 1750 N. Raab Road in Swanton. Interment will follow at Marygrove Cemetery.

A special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Phibbs, nurse Sandy and Hospice for the exceptional care provided to Bonnie.
