Bernetta C. Noe, age 97, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, June 22, 2011 at the Swanton Health Care Center. She was born February 20, 1914 in Swanton, Ohio to the late Louis and Anne (Bauer) Lumbrezer. She married Francis “Red” Noe and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1987.

Bernetta was a life-member of St. Richard Catholic Parish and its Rosary-Altar Society, and was also a member of The Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

She was employed by her son-in-law at Paul’s Flower Shop in Swanton for over 30 years.

Bernetta is survived by her children Ila Mae (Paul) Kreuz of Swanton, OH and James (Elizabeth) Noe of Gahanna, OH; grandchildren, Daniel (Szeren), Roger, Rebecca (Joe), Laura (Mike), Catherine (Tom), Jeff (Felice) and Jennifer (Dan); 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Pauline Gillen of Toledo, OH, Shirley (John) Fritsch of Berkey, OH, Charles Lumbrezer of Fayetteville, AR; and brother-in-law, William Lantz.

Besides her parents, and her loving husband, Bernetta was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret Lau, Lucille Lantz, Zeno Lumbrezer, and Angela Mae Lumbrezer.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, June 26th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday, June 27th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Richard Catholic Church, where visitation will be one hour prior. Fr. Mark Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.
