Barbara Ann Ehret

Barbara Ann Ehret, age 71, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, November 8, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born April 17, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Lillian "Peggy" (Schondel) and Paul Edmund Ehret of Swanton, Ohio. Barbara was a 1968 graduate of Swanton High School.

Barbara was an avid reader who loved bathing in the sun and shopping. She absolutely loved her career as a bartender because it gave her the opportunity to socialize and interact with people. She worked at the Swanton Elks Lodge and Maumee Eagles, where she was also a member.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Leslie Strong and Ryan Duncan; granddaughter, Ashley Duncan; siblings, Paul Joe Ehret, Bonnie Ehret and Louie (Dawn) Ehret; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillian; sister, Paulette Ehret and sister-in-law, Diane Ehret.

A service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held Monday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
