April M. Myers-Westfall

April M. (Myers) Westfall, age 41, of West Unity, Ohio; formerly of Ogden Township, Michigan, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, Saturday afternoon, July 7, 2012. She was born July 16, 1970 in Adrian, Michigan to Roger Myers and Cheryl (Osenko) Myers. She graduated from Onsted High School and on May 14, 2004 married Michael Westfall.

April worked as a quality technician for IAC in Wauseon and was an avid birdwatcher. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, and will be greatly missed. She and her husband, Michael, recently purchased a home in West Unity and were looking forward to continuing their wonderful life together in their new home and raising their 5 year-old daughter, Savanah, whom she adored – Savanah was her most precious and cherished gift.

Besides her loving husband of 8 years, Michael; and daughter, Savanah; left to honor her memory are her parents, Roger Myers and Cheryl Myers; sister, Shawna (Michael) Stites; brother, Jason (Shawn) Myers; mother-in-law, Karen and step father-in-law, Brian Burch; father-in-law, John Westfall; brother-in-law, Jason (Aimee) Westfall; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ray and Margaret Myers and maternal grandparents Russell Osenko and Leona Weeks.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, July 12th from 3 to 8 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora (419.644.3601). Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13th at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor David Banks officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Ogden-Zion Cemetery.
