Ann Marie Gillen

Ann (Anna Marie Linehan Gillen) born December 26, 1938, much loved wife of Bob, mother of Mary (Gordon) Wilkins, Joan (Don) Klein, Kathy (Scott) Oster, Matt, Dave (Lorraine), Steve, Patti (Mark) Valore, Joe (Nichole); 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; also survived by her brother, Pete Everett. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Bernadine Linehan; stepfather, Harold Everett; son, Steven; grandsons, Jason and Malachi; brother, Craig and sister-in-law, Peggy Linehan.

Ann was very active in serving God and Church. While at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, she served as a teacher and the leader of the Religious Education program, co-initiated the Catechist of the Good Shepherd, as well as at Holy Trinity Parish, served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Ann was a den mother while her sons were in Cub Scouts. Ann accompanied her husband through the permanent diaconate program and was a certified catechist of the Catholic Church.

Ann was a professional seamstress and worked at the Notre Dame child care.

Her family wishes to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all the care and support she received.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 8^th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, where a Vigil service will begin at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 9^th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption, with Fr. Michael Dandurand presiding. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Assumption.
