Alice Catherine Bohnenkamp

Alice Catherine “GIGI” Bohnenkamp, mother of 3, grandmother of 10, and great-grandmother of 14, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 16, 2013, in her Swanton, Ohio home. Alice was born in Centralia, Illinois and lived 87 wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gerald Bohnenkamp.

Alice worked most of her life as a bookkeeper for several different companies. In her younger days, she was an avid bowler. Later in life, Alice enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being outdoors and always had a puzzle on the kitchen table. Alice was born and raised a Southern Baptist and loved the Lord her entire life.

Alice will be greatly missed by her children, Janice (Tarrey) Ewing, Cindy (Daniel) Sgro, and Kenne (Martha) Bohnenkamp.

Graveside services at South Swanton Cemetery will be private, but prayers and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
